Site Manager

Creighan Contract are a small but agile company that is growing fast in the Fitout/Small construction arena. We are looking for a Site Manager to join our Management Team.

  • Liaising with clients and a variety of professionals, such as surveyors, engineers, and architects.
  • Supervising construction workers and hiring subcontractors. 
  • Reporting progress to clients and board members via phone calls, written reports, and presentations.
  • Buying materials for each phase of the project.
  • Monitoring build costs and project progress
  • Conducting quality and safety inspections, including health & safety practices and regulations are adhered to.
  • Checking and preparing site reports, designs, and drawings.
  • Preparing all necessary paperwork, interim valuations etc.
  • Maintaining quality control checks 
  • Motivating the workforce.
  • Day to day problem solving and dealing with any issues that arise.
  • Using specialist project management computer programmes.
  • Working on-site in all weathers, at clients’ businesses or in a site office.
  • Travel is sometimes necessary to meet with clients and sub-contractors.
  • Working hours: evening and weekend hours can be expected around deadlines.

  • Duties and responsibilities are not limited to the above and other duties will be expected on a day-to-day basis.


  • More than 6 years’ experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
  • An appropriate degree in construction/building management, engineering, construction engineering management or civil/structural engineering would be advantageous.

  • Experience of the working environment is necessary for this management position.

  • Computer literate i.e., excel, word, cad, outlook.

  • Full drivers’ licence.

  • Safe pass & manual handling.

    Assistant Accountant

    Creighan Contracts are currently looking for an experienced individual to join our team as Accounts Technician / Assistant Accountant

    This role will be responsible for managing the financial operation of the company, reporting to the Managing Director. You will work alongside our Admin team, Operations team, and our Commercial Manager.


    • Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts to Trial Balance

    • Manage all aspects of Accounts Payable & Receivable and all subcontractor payments. Revenue returns for P30, VAT and RCT.

    • Prepare payment runs for review and ensure they are in line with the cashflow forecasts.

    • Entering financial information into accounting software programs

    • Reconciling bank accounts.

    • Managing company ledgers

    • Raise invoices.

    • Analysis & reconciliations

    • Responsible for weekly and monthly payroll.

    • Credit Control.

    • Conduct ad-hoc financial tasks as required.


    Skills & Requirements for the Company Accountant

    • Flexibility to fulfil other roles and responsibilities at a similar level within the group.

    • Ability to manage tasks and changing priorities while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.

    • Proactive, positive attitude with the ability to work on own initiative.

    • Experience in the construction industry an advantage.

    • Strong analytical skills

    • Competent IT skills, particularly in the use of spreadsheets.

    • Have high attention to detail excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels within the organisation.

    • Strong commercial sense

    • Knowledge of Surf Accounts & BrightPay an advantage, but not essential


    • Recognised Accounting Qualification. (ATT, ATI or equivalent)

    • Five plus year experience post qualification in a similar role

    • Strong communication skills (verbal, written and presentational)

    • Team Player, communicative person with a can-do attitude, time flexibility
